Ideally situated with easy access from the B6222 / Bury and Rochdale Old Rd from which you can connect quickly to both the M65 and the M60/62; Birtle Riding Centre provides you will mils of idyllic hacking without compromising on travel time or having to go off-road to visit you beloved equine friends.
We have 34 stables in a variety of sizes suited to horses and ponies; all of our clients are on a full livery basis with the horse and ponies being cared for to a high standard by an experienced team 7 days a week.
Our yard had the following facilities:
- A secure tack room
- Horse walker
- Surfaced all-weather turn out area
- Large arena with jumps, dressage boards and floodlights
- Wash area
- Feed room
- Kitchen
- Toilet
- Weekly farrier visits
- Regular vet visit
In addition, we are currently working on installing a track for owners who prefer to have their horses barefoot and living in a herd on a track system, as well as two other tracks around the edges of two of our summer fields which will be used for winter turnout for our traditional liveries.
Many of our clients choose to remain with us a long time due t the friendly atmosphere and the excellent service offered. A friendly, supportive environment is hugely important to us: we feel that horses are an expensive hobby, spending time with them should be enjoyable., as such we view maintaining this atmosphere as a priority.
